Still one of the most popular boats on the nile, the RA II Nile Cruise boat has been a favourite with UK tourists for many years and is well known for its hospitality and friendly service with many clients returning to enjoy its facilities and levels of comfort. Its warm décor and wood furnishings create a relaxing atmosphere and its accommodation including walk on balcony make for a truly memorable holiday.
This impressive boat offers attractively furnished cabins, excellent food and attentive friendly service from a dedicated crew as well as experienced qualified Egyptologists for all sightseeing excursions. Originally built in 1990 the RA II Nile Cruises's latest refurbishment was in July 2010 and this included replacing all carpets in the public areas, new bathrooms and redecorating all bedrooms.
As well as enjoying its quiet private mooring location which ensures direct access to the dock along with uninterrupted views of the Nile, clients on the RA II also benefit from its extra sailing excursion to the spectacular temple of Dendera for which the RA II is one of only a handful of boats on the Nile to include in its itinerary. The RA II is also probably the only boat to have continued sailing right through 2011 when most other Nile Cruises stopped due to a lack of business. This is a great testament to its continued popularity.
