Starting in Luxor with 3 half day tours before moving to Cairo for 2 half day and 1 full day tour you will visit the major attractions with time for further exploring or just to relax and enjoy the atmosphere.

Itinerary

Day One      Arrive Luxor and meet and greet by local representatives and transfer to your hotel for a 5 night stay.

Day Two      Morning tour to the East Bank Temples of Karnak and Luxor. Karnak is the biggest temple complex in the world with its famous 138 gigantic columns. Luxor temple faces the Nile and was originally joined to Karnak temple by an avenue of Sphinxs over 2 kms long.

Day Three   Morning excursion to the Valley of the Kings and the Tombs of the new Kingdom Pharaohs including Tutankhamen. Following this visit the mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut with its 3 terraces before a photo stop at the imposing Colossi of Memnon.

Day Four     Morning visit to the Luxor Museum containing one of the best displays of antiquities in Egypt. Enjoy the masterpieces of sculpture from the various dynasties of ancient Egypt. Following this enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Day Five     Today enjoy a day at leisure and possibly explore Luxor. The services of our local representatives will be available should you need them.

Day Six       Morning free for leisure before checkout of your hotel and transfer to Cairo airport for your flight to Luxor. Transfer to your hotel to check in for a 4 night stay.

Day Seven Half day tour to the great pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. The Pyramids are the last remaining of the Seven Wonders of the World and were built over 4600 years ago. Cheops Pyramid was built by King Khufu and took over 27 years to complete. The Sphinx guards the entrance to the Pyramids and its origins are still a mystery today.

Day Eight   Enjoy a half day tour to the sites of Sakkara and Memphis. The step Pyramid of Zoser at Sakkara contains 6 steps with a total height of 60 meters and was considered an evolution in Pyramid design. Memphis was the capital of the old kingdom of Egypt and at its height was the largest city in the world.

Day Nine    Full day city tour to include the famous Egyptian Museum, the Citadel of Mohamed Ali Mosque, the Khan Khalili Bazaar and old Cairo. The Egyptian museum contains the treasures from many periods of ancient Egypt, the highlight being the exhibition of Tutankhamen.

Day Ten     Morning free for leisure before checkout of your hotel and transfer your flight home.
