- Itinerary

Day 1: IstanbulArrive Istanbul airport, meet and greet and transfer to your hotel for overnight.Day 2: GallipoliAn early departure as we drive out to the Gallipoli Peninsular and the historical site of one of the most famous campaigns of WW1. Here you will visit some of the poignant war memorials, including the national ones of Australia and New Zealand, to some of the half a million troops who lost their lives in the ferocious fighting. You will also visit Anzac Cove, the site of the Allied landing at the start of the campaign as well as touring remains of the trenches dug. Following this we drive onto Canakkale to overnight.Day 3: TroyFollowing an early start we drive to Troy and the site of the Trojan horse. Made famous by the Greek poet Homer and his story of Achilles and the siege of Troy and more recently in the film 'Troy'. Following its rediscoverey in 1863 a further 9 cities were discovered and you will enjoy a tour of the ruins and the replica of the famous wooden horse used to help sack Troy. Following this we drive back to Istanbul and check in at your hotel..Day 4: IstanbulThis morning is free for lesure and depending on your flight time, there is the possiblity of a morning optional before transfer to the airport for the flight back to the UK.
