Starting in Luxor where you will explore the many fascinating temples and tombs before travelling upto Cairo by train to visit its world renowned major sites including the Great Pyramid of Giza and the treasures of Tutankamun at the Egyptian museum. A free day is included in Cairo to spend at your leisure or for more exploring.

Day One Arrive Luxor and meet and greet by local representatives and transfer to your hotel for a 2 night stay. Day Two Morning tour to the East Bank temples of Karnak and Luxor. Karnak is the biggest temple complex in the world with its famous 138 gigantic columns. Luxor faces the Nile and was originally joined to Karnak by an avenue of Sphinxs over 2 kms long. Afternoon free for leisure. Day Three Morning excursion to the Valley of the Kings and the tombs of the new kingdom pharaohs including Tutankhamen. Following this visit the mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut with its 3 terraces before a photo stop at the imposing Colossi of Memnon. In the late afternoon transfer to Luxor train station for your overnight train to Cairo. Day Four Arrive Cairo and transfer to your hotel for a 3 night stay. The rest of the day is free for leisure, possibly to explore Cairo. Day Five Full day tour to the Great Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx and the sites of Sakkara and Memphis. The step Pyramid of Zoser at Sakkara contains 6 steps with a total height of 60 meters and was considered an evolution in pyramid design. Memphis was the capital of the old kingdom of Egypt and at its height was the largest city in the world. Day Six Free day for leisure either to relax by the pool or to take an optional tour. Day Seven Checkout of your hotel and transfer to Cairo airport for your flight back to Luxor. On arrival at Luxor transfer to your hotel for 1 nights bed and breakfast. The rest of the day is free for leisure or to explore Luxor further. Day Eight Morning free for leisure before checkout and transfer to Luxor airport for your flight home.
