Our Grand tour starts with a 7 night Nile Cruise exploring the tombs and temples of upper Egypt on one of our boats before we head north to Cairo with visits to the Pyramids, Sphinx and Egyptian Museum among others in Cairo, Then we head back to Luxor for four relaxing days to unwind. Accompanied by our experienced Egyptologists this popular tour covers all the major tourist sites in Egypt making for a memorable holiday.

- Itinerary

Day One Arrive at Luxor airport. Meet and greet by a local representative and transfer to your cruise boat for a 7 night cruise. Day Two Enjoy your first sunrise as we set sail on our journey to Esna, relaxing during your first morning as the Nile drifts by. Following this we take lunch before crossing the lock and sailing on to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board. Day Three Morning sightseeing of Edfu, and the extraordinary Temple of Horus. Following this we sail onto Aswan via Kom Ombo enjoying lunch on board and then afternoon free for leisure. Dinner and overnight on board. Day Four Morning excursion to the High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk and the Temple of Philae. Following lunch the afternoon is free for leisure. Dinner and overnight on board. Day Five Morning free for leisure, possibly to explore Aswan. Lunch on board and then an afternoon felucca cruise along the Nile. Dinner and overnight board. Day Six Early morning sailing to Kom Ombo, where we visit the Temple dedicated to the two gods Sobek and Haroeris. Lunch on board as we continue sailing north enjoying the Nile views. Day Seven Arrive Luxor in time for lunch on board and then afternoon excursion to the West Bank of Luxor to visit the Valley of the Kings, the mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the imposing Colossi of Memnon. Day Eight Visit the East Bank Temples of Karnak and Luxor before transfer from your Nile cruise boat to Luxor airport for your flight to Cairo. On arrival at Cairo, meet and greet by a local representative and transfer to your hotel for a 3 night stay. Day Nine Full day tour to the Great Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx and the sites of Sakkara and Memphis. The Pyramids are the last remaining of the Seven Wonders of the World and were built over 4600 years ago. Following this we visit Sakkara and Memphis. The step Pyramid of Zoser at Sakkara contains 6 steps with a total height of 60 meters and was considered an evolution in Pyramid design. Memphis was the capital of the old kingdom of Egypt and at its height was the largest city in the world. Day Ten A full day city tour to the famous Egyptian Museum, the Citadel of Mohamed Ali Mosque and the Khan Khalili Bazaar. The Egyptian Museum contains the treasures from many periods of ancient Egypt including Tutankhamen. Following this visit the Citadel and the Mohamed Ali Mosque with its panoramic views of the city of Cairo. After this, explore the vast number of streets and shops of the Khan Khalili Bazaar. Day Eleven Checkout of the hotel, and transfer to the Cairo airport for your flight back to Luxor. Meet and greet at Luxor airport and then transfer your hotel for a 4 night stay. Day Twelve Leisure time. The services of our local representatives will be available if you wish to book any further sightseeing trips or excursions. Day Thirteen Leisure time. The services of our local representatives will be available if you wish to book any further sightseeing trips or excursions. Day Fourteen Leisure time. The services of our local representatives will be available if you wish to book any further sightseeing trips or excursions. Day Fifteen Checkout of the hotel and transfer to Luxor airport for your flight home.
