Itinerary

Arrival at Istanbul airport, meet and greet and transfer your hotel for overnight.

DAY 2: Egyptain spice bazaar and Bosphorus cruise

After breakfast enjoy a half day tour with a visit to the Egyptian Spice Bazaar which is full of the mystical aromas of various spices and colourful shops selling fruit, vegetables, flowers, fish and much more. Next we board our boat for a cruise along the Bosphorus, the waterway separating the two continents of Europe and Asia. As we travel, you will have the chance to see the European style palaces of the Ottomans and the palaces of Dolmabahce and Beylerbeyi, in striking contrast to some of the modern villas that line the shores. The rest of the day is free to enjoy Istanbul possibly by taking one of our optional tours.

DAY 3: Byzantine Hippodrome and Grand Bazaar

In the morning visit Byzantine Hippodrome, in which stand the obelisk brought from Egypt by Theodosius and the Serpent Column taken from Delphi by Constantine. Blue Mosque, which has six minarets and a middle dome of 109 feet and Grand Covered Bazaar (closed on Sundays) dating back to 15th century. It covers over 4,000 shops under one roof. PM free for leisure. If desired you can remain at the Bazaar and make your own way back.
